What’s in My Purse?

What’s in My Purse?

I like to think of myself as a planner.  As such, I prefer my handbag be stashed with everything I need on a daily basis and any surprises that life may throw my way.

Currently in my “Louie”:
  1. Makeup bag (see detail of contents, below)
  2. Wallet
    • ID
    • Credit cards
    • Debit card
    • $20 cash (I usually don’t carry cash, but always keep a $20 for emergencies)
    • Business cards
    • Pictures of my family
    • Coupons
    • Receipts (which I take out and organize about once/week)
  3. Checkbook
  4. Sunglasses
  5. Keys (complete with bottle opener, USB, and my favorite “d” keychain)
  6. Two of our wedding koozies (one of each color)
  7. Pen
  8. Blistex (one of my favorite products, as noted in this post)
  9. Rose Salve (also one of my favorite products, as noted in this post)
  10. Hair clip
  11. Headphones
  12. iPhone USB charger
  13. iPhone 6

Although most of the items I have are ordinary for any woman to carry, I like to think of my makeup bag as the most detailed and prepared.  This is what I keep in my makeup bag:

  1. CeraVe face lotion (one of my favorite products, as noted in this post)
  2. Chanel face powder (also one of my favorite products, as noted in this post)
  3. Concealer (Estee Lauder ‘Double Wear’ Concealer)
  4. Oil absorbing blotting sheets
  5. Body lotion (favorite here)
  6. Hand sanitizer (favorite here)
  7. Mini hair brush
  8. Emery board nail file
  9. Nail clippers
  10. Tweezers
  11. Band-aids
  12. Neosporin
  13. Personal daily medications and vitamins
  14. Ibuprofen
  15. Travel contact case (w/ mini bottle of contact solution)
  16. Ear plugs
  17. Extra bobby pins and hair ties
  18. Safety pins
  19. Mini screwdriver (have had forever, from a sunglasses cleaning kit)
  20. Feminine products

It may seem like overkill, but being organized and having these items on hand keeps me organized, prepared, and most importantly at ease.  🙂
