Happy Friday! I have been crazy busy with work and am counting down the days until our October 17th deadline (…which is usually October 15th, but it happened to fall on a Saturday this year…go figure). I am greatly looking forward to a weekend full of fall weather, time with my parents, and a few parties for friends. My mom and I are actually throwing a bridal brunch shower on Sunday for a family friend…I smell mimosas! Remember to keep all of those affected by this tragic hurricane in your thoughts and prayers. Enjoy your weekend! Continue reading “The Little Things”→
Over the past few weeks, busy would be an understatement for the hectic lifestyle we’ve been attempting to keep orderly. We hosted a few parties, played nurse to my mom (who has had a record-breaking number of random surgeries this year…but is recovering fabulously), attended a few concerts and the first UGA home game, visited the astounding construction of my parent’s house renovation, and even took a trip out to George, Washington for a 3-day Dave Matthews Band extravaganza (also known as “Labor Dave”) at the famous Gorge Amphitheater! I want to apologize for putting Bellinis on Bellemeade on hold, but can assure you all of the crazy shenanigans have provided a plethora of ideas, events, and blogging paraphernalia that I plan to share in the near future! :: Cheers! ::Continue reading “The Little Things”→
This past week, B’s parents were visiting from Washington. We packed as many family events into their trip as possible, meeting at Sean’s Harvest Market for dinner and drinks the evening they flew in. B’s sister and her husband, Sean, opened the local market back in 2012, which is conveniently located on the BeltLine near Piedmont Park. The food is inspired by their love for the small, impassioned food shops in Europe and New York and could not be more delicious, fresh, or unique. Stop by to enjoy a bite and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and support this trendy local business. I promise you will not be disappointed!
Happy Tuesday! B and I are currently on vacation in Florida on beautiful Alligator Point. This place is a private and secluded peninsula in the Gulf of Mexico, only an approximate 5 hour drive from the ATL. Being first time visitors, we are absolutely stunned with the amount of solitude and charm this place resonates.
We have rented an adorable bungalow on the beach, complete with an outdoor shower and screened-in porch. Not only are the puppies allowed in the house, they can roam the beach sans leash! I cannot vouch that this place is any Punta Cana, but Alligator Point is definitely a secluded oasis of natural beauty. It is perfect for true beach lovers looking for a break from the everyday hustle and bustle of today’s world. Continue reading “The Little Things – Alligator Point”→
Happy Friday! B and I are looking forward to a few good friends visiting over the next couple of days and the one week countdown to our beach trip next Friday. Remember to take time to enjoy the little things and have a wonderful weekend! Continue reading “The Little Things”→
I often notice that the hustle and bustle of every day life leaves us forgetting to take the time to stop, smell the roses, and enjoy the little things. These posts will serve as an avenue to routinely share a few items that provided some sort of inspiration, significance, or simple joy to my life. Hopefully, I can motivate you to do the same!
